I really enjoyed your topic and how you raised the awareness of our service man dealing with PTSD. The use of typography to explain key parts of how veterans live in the civilian world helps a lot to understand the reality of what they have to go through after their service. Very well done and really informative.
Really great narrative that brings to light an important issue. Instead of the titles with the really long setups, I may have just included yourself asking the questions and made it an on-camera interview
Good story and problem. I thought there was a bit more text than I would expect for documentary, but in some cases it actually worked pretty well, like at the end with the flag in the background.
I love the opening and the inserted text. The flag shot is really strong. The interviews really connected emotionally. I would have liked some music softly in the background to fill the silence and keep the emotion.
I liked the end-end scene which underlined the tragedy. The interviewees were also very good, I would have loved to hear more of them and a little bit less text to read.
Really good subject matter and very important to be shared. The framing of the flag and the military burial site at the end was very strong. Well done.
Great interviews. As the only non-military man in my family, I see the military life first hand. PTSD is something I don't often see however so this is still a foreign world to me. It was wild and disheartening to see the statistics.
I really like the ending with the music and the flag.
ReplyDeleteI fucking love Stanley. Great content - I know it's a hard subject to approach. I'm sure that nearly everyone who watched it learned something today.
ReplyDeletethe fades felt rushed and choppy but the positioning of the clips was well done.
ReplyDeleteVery good story. Lots of good facts to back story. Transition from scene to scene needs a little work, I felt it was to sudden.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed the different subjects that were interviewed for this documentary. The sound was good as well.

ReplyDeletei really like how this was put together, but the fade to black cuts were really distracting as it seemed to cut off their voices
